ABOUT THE CLIENT

OpenRoad Auto Group is one of the leading car dealerships in Western Canada. They have more than 15 dealership locations across Rainy Town Media and process millions of dollars in inventory on an annual basis. Rebranded in 2000, Openroad Auto Group now represents over a dozen leading brands including Toyota, Mazda, Audi, Jaguar, and Porsche… With over 750 employees, OpenRoad leads the industry in customer satisfaction and value-added service.

ABOUT THE SITE

With a used car inventory of over 450 vehicles, OpenRoad was looking for a custom in-house solution that would allow their dealerships to manage their pre-owned stock while centralizing IT capabilities across business entities. Our team designed a comprehensive backend system that allowed the dealerships to quickly enter stocks, upload photos, and manage their inventory. Rainy Town Media was able to integrate the VIN database system to allow for quick entry and looking up for vehicles’ specs and features. This system also automatically bridges pre-owned data across multiple third-party vendor platforms and advertising portals. As a result of our work, Open Road Autogroup has one of the most advance and searchable pre-owned systems in the Lower Mainland.
RainyTownMedia’s coding is elegant, working, and best of all, bug-free. They developed our used car back-end system 5 years ago and it has been going strong ever since. We have recently contracted them to modify our SMS framework and it has been quick and painless. They have been a pleasure to work with.
